Traditional Health Services

The traditional health services are rooted in the traditional knowledge and practices of the people, and include smudging and other traditional ceremonies. Akamihk Health Care Services works to connect the Indigenous people to their culture and traditions, and to promote holistic wellness. We also work to bridge the gap between traditional and Western health care and to ensure that the needs of the Indigenous people are being met. Akamihk Health Care Services is committed to providing quality and culturally appropriate traditional health services to the Indigenous people of Canada.
